Morning all! It is 8.08am, and I am already up and about and blogging! So super proud of myself, an excellent start to the Easter month of -hopefully- working a full time job. I heading to the gym right now for a morning class then swimming, Then I am meeting my best friend Kati for coffee (well chaaaiii) then we are going to see her new room at her mum's house. Then I am heading back into town to see my boyfriends mum, and also my new boss! I know this outfit doesn't look very professional for a job meeting, but I have met my new boss several times, and this is more of a casual meeting.

I was inspired by Prada today, focussing on their clashing prints for this season. I have kept the palette even by sticking to blue, white and grey tones, and contrasting it with gold jewelry. This look is topped off with ballet pumps and my Calvin Klein bag to keep the accessories neutral, and therefore not detract from the outfit.

OOTD: 50's Style Jeans

Today's outfit was in total defiance to the weather. It's been beautifully sunny in London for over a week, and today it decided to be horrible overcast. So I decided to wear a summery outfit. Back in Summer of 2010 I wore these jeans rolled up 50's styleeee, and now I have worn then again in this way.

So I get get severely rained on, but oh well! I visited Kentish Town again, and had a concept meeting with my collaborative project group. We went to Kentish Town City Farm, and I was blown away by how much it made me miss home. I'm going back to Oxford on Sunday, for 4 weeks, so I look forward to seeing many familiar faces and visiting some new restaurants! Love,

OOTD: The Boat Race

Today is the annual Oxford V Cambridge Boat Race, and lucky for me it is actually held in London. So as Chiswick Park holds host to this most upheld of traditions, thousands of people flock from all over the country to oversea the race. Obviously I am supporting Oxford, and will be heading down to Chiswick Park to watch the race from the finish line! Ballerina hair. Create a tight bun at the nape of your neck, but allow a small amount of hair to be free at the front. Pin the thicker side of hair back, over the ear. Outfit of The Night: Birthday Meal

Hello everyone! I have an outfit of the night for you today, which I haven't done since my New Years look! It was my birthday on the 21st, and on the 22nd I went to dinner at Prezzo in Mayfair with my close friends. The meal was lovely, and the outfits were equally as fun to construct. OOTD: Greyness in the Sunshine

So it was literally the most beautiful day in London yesterday. The sun was shining, it was really warm and everyone had a good feeling that spring was on its way. These jeggings are some of my favourite for spring, as they are the perfect transition piece from black to white jeans. I kept the rest of the look around the grey theme, as black was way to harsh for such a pretty day. I am off to Holborn in Central London today, for a whole day's study in the Learning Zone. I've never been, but it sounds incredible. Love,

Truck 13 Festival, 2010l

Hey guys! So this is just a quick post with some photos from Truck 13 Festival, which is held in Steventon in Oxfordshire. This is only 5 miles away from where I live, and even closer for Alex and our friends, so we go to the festival every year. However, this year was a bit disappointing, for a range of reasons, but most disappointing was that we only saw one of the six bands we wanted to see. But the sun was shining, and we were with friends so we made the most of the weekend. Alex and I were stewarding this year, meaning we get a free ticket for 12 hours work (4 hours a day), which is quite fair. From this we got bright orange tee-shirts, which made us quite unmissable. Here are some photos- I took alot more on my film camera but I am waiting for that to be developed. I will post them when they are done, along with some general summer photos!

This was my generic day outfit: Stewarding tee, Primark studded shorts, Topshop OTK socks and Primark floral wellingtons. Oh, and don't forget the 80's style shades! This is me stewarding on the Disability Platform; we were guarding it from people who weren't disabled. 

This is Alex and I at our tent. Behind us you can see our super tidy tent, which was very helpful as things were easier to find and store. I am wearing my oversized tee by Babara Halunuki for Topshop, worn with my shorts and wellies. I wore white socks with this so it all worked together! Alex wore his head tie from Belgium literally all weekend, and burnt everything except under that! You can just about see how terrible the L'Oreal foundation is on my face (as mentioned in my last post), so I decided after this to just wear powder. 

This is the only band we saw, Dead Jerichos, setting up. We are friendly with the drummer, Leo, and the band are based in Oxford. Their set was really good, and made the whole weekend alot more fun! They played on the Market Stage on Sunday afternoon.
